Wonder of the Seas is one of the most family-friendly ships ever built β and almost everything on it is included free with your cruise. Hereβs the full rundown for families (and honestly, most of these are just as fun without kids).

- The Perfect Storm waterslides β three slides: Typhoon and Cyclone (racing slides) plus Supercell, with its champagne-bowl swirl (min height ~48")

- Zip line β ride 9 decks above the Boardwalk (min height ~52", weight limits apply)
- FlowRider surf simulator β boogie boarding (~52"+) and stand-up surfing (~58"+); beginners welcome, lessons available
- Rock climbing β two 43-foot walls with routes for all levels (ages 6+); gear provided
- Wonder Dunes mini golf β 9 holes up on the sports deck
- Laser tag β free, but reserve a slot in the app as soon as you board
- Ice skating β open skating sessions in Studio B, skates provided free
- The carousel β a handcrafted, full-size carousel right on the Boardwalk
- Splashaway Bay β kidsβ aqua park with slides, fountains, and drench buckets

Height/age requirements are set by Royal Caribbean and enforced onboard β approximate minimums shown; check signage or the app. The arcade is the main kid-magnet that costs extra (per-game charges to the SeaPass card).
π§ Adventure Ocean β Free Kidsβ Program
- Ages 3β12: complimentary drop-off kidsβ club with trained youth staff β science experiments, games, art, themed activities. Register on boarding day (visit Adventure Ocean when you board) β it fills up on busy sailings.
- Teens 13β17: dedicated teen-only hangout spaces and organized meet-ups, games, and parties β no sign-up needed, teens come and go freely.
- Babies 6β36 months: the nursery offers hourly care for an extra fee β space is limited, so reserve early in the app once onboard.
- Late-night group care may be available for an hourly fee after regular hours.
π Kids & Food
- Kidsβ menus are free in the Main Dining Room, and picky eaters always have Sorrentoβs pizza, the Windjammer buffet, El Loco Fresh tacos, Boardwalk Dog House, and unlimited Sprinkles soft-serve.
- Food allergies? Note them at shipboard registration, tell your head waiter on night one, and email special_needs@rccl.com at least 45 days ahead.
π³ Kids & Money
- Kids get their own SeaPass cards β you choose whether theirs can charge purchases (set at check-in or Guest Services).
- Teens with phones can use the Royal Caribbean app and its free onboard chat to stay in touch with you β no internet package needed.
π Kids at the Ports
- Perfect Day at CocoCay: Splashaway Bay and Captain Jillβs Galleon aqua play areas, beaches, and all the food are free. Thrill Waterpark is the big optional extra.
- Nassau: keep kids close in port; the group beach day at Junkanoo Beach is an easy walk from the ship.
πͺͺ Family Rules & Fine Print
- Documents: kids need travel documents too β see the Travel Documents FAQ (kids 15 and under: original birth certificate is enough for this cruise).
- Traveling with a child who isnβt yours (grandkids, nieces/nephews): a notarized minor consent form from the parent/guardian is required β the form is linked in the Travel Documents FAQ.
- Ages: drinking is 21+, casino is 18+, and infants must be at least 6 months old to sail. Minors have a late-night curfew unless accompanied by an adult.
- Swim diapers: babies in diapers/swim diapers can use the designated splash zones but not the pools.
- Muster drill: everyone, including kids, must be checked in at your muster station before sailaway.
