Our cruise visits two ports: Nassau, Bahamas and Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Here’s what to expect at each. (Port times are the current schedule — final times will show in the Royal Caribbean app. Royal Caribbean may adjust or reroute the itinerary if needed due to weather or port conditions.)
🇧🇸 Nassau, Bahamas — Wednesday, November 4 (approx. 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
The ship docks at the Nassau Cruise Port at Prince George Wharf, right in downtown Nassau — you can walk straight off the ship into town.
🌴 Your Day, Your Way
Nassau is a free day — you can do anything you’d like! Join the group at the beach, book an excursion, shop, explore, or just enjoy the ship while it’s quiet. Here are some favorite options:
🏖️ Join the Group at Junkanoo Beach (Likely Plan)
- A Frequense group will likely spend the day at Junkanoo Beach, a public beach about a 10–15 minute walk from the cruise port — no taxi needed.
- The beach is free; local vendors rent chairs and umbrellas and sell food and drinks — bring cash (U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere in Nassau).
- Beach plans are being finalized — meeting times and details will be shared closer to sailing.
🗺️ More Ways to Spend the Day
- Straw Market & Bay Street — souvenir shopping and local crafts, a short walk from the ship
- Queen’s Staircase & Fort Fincastle — historic sites about a 20–25 minute walk or short cab ride away
- Paradise Island / Atlantis — visit the famous resort, casino, or Cabbage Beach via a quick taxi or water taxi ride
- Local food — try conch fritters or fresh seafood at the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay
- Shore excursions — snorkeling, catamaran sails, swimming pigs, and more; book through the Royal Caribbean app/Cruise Planner so you’re guaranteed to be back before sailaway
- Stay onboard — pools and waterslides are gloriously empty on port days!
⚠️ Good to Know in Nassau
- Carry your SeaPass card plus a photo ID to get off and back on the ship. No visa or fees are needed.
- Stay in the main tourist areas and use licensed taxis or cruise-line excursions. The U.S. State Department advises avoiding the "Over the Hill" area south of Shirley Street and not renting jet skis from independent operators — serious incidents have been reported. If you want water sports, book through Royal Caribbean.
- Never swim alone, and keep an eye on your belongings at the beach.
- Be back on the ship at least 60 minutes before departure. The ship will not wait for guests on their own in port (it will for delayed Royal Caribbean excursions).
🌞 Perfect Day at CocoCay — Thursday, November 5 (approx. 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
CocoCay is Royal Caribbean’s private island — you only need your SeaPass card to get off and on, and there’s no immigration process.

- Chill Island, South Beach, and Harbor Beach — with complimentary loungers and umbrellas

- Lunch at Chill Grill, Skipper’s Grill, and the Snack Shacks (burgers, tacos, sandwiches, salads — all included)
- Island trams, beach wheelchairs, and towels

Prices vary by sailing and sell out — if you want any of these, book early in the Cruise Planner and watch for sales.
💡 CocoCay Tips
- Head off the ship in the morning — the best loungers by Oasis Lagoon and Chill Island go early, and our departure is around 4:00 PM.
- Everything charges to your SeaPass — no cash needed on the island.
- Bring sunscreen! Shade is limited at the beaches midday.
