Drink Packages — Important Rules
Royal Caribbean enforces cabin-wide rules only for the Deluxe Beverage Package. Package prices change daily in the Cruise Planner — pre-cruise pricing is almost always cheaper than onboard.
Non-Alcoholic Drink Packages (Refreshment Package & Classic Soda Package)
- Charged per person, per day
- Can be purchased individually; your cabin mate does NOT have to buy one
Classic Soda Package — roughly $10–$18 per day. Includes unlimited fountain soda and Coca-Cola Freestyle machine access.
⚠️ Freestyle Machine Rules: A Coca-Cola Freestyle RFID cup is required to use the Freestyle machines and is no longer included with the package (Royal Caribbean policy change, March 2026) — it can be purchased separately for about $4.99. Personal bottles will not dispense soda.
Refreshment Package — roughly $32–$42 per day. Includes soda, premium coffees, bottled water, fresh juices, mocktails, milkshakes, and specialty non-alcoholic drinks.
Deluxe Beverage Package (Alcoholic) — roughly $65–$90 per day, per 21+ guest.
Strict Rule (Applies Only to This Package): If one guest buys the Deluxe Beverage Package, all guests 21+ in that cabin must purchase it. Royal Caribbean eliminated all exceptions to this rule in August 2025 — there are no longer non-drinker or medical exemptions.
Includes: cocktails, beer, and wine up to $14 per drink (you pay the difference on pricier drinks), soda, bottled water, juices, mocktails, and specialty coffees at onboard cafés.
Important:
- The Starbucks store on the Royal Promenade is NOT included in any drink package
- Specialty coffee at other ship cafés is included
- Drink packages work at Perfect Day at CocoCay too
Internet / Wi-Fi (Not Included)
- Wi-Fi is not included in your cruise fare
- VOOM (Starlink-powered) is purchased through Royal Caribbean, priced per device — roughly $23–$30/day pre-cruise, more if purchased onboard, with multi-device discounts
- Your Wi-Fi package also works at Perfect Day at CocoCay
Specialty Dining (Optional Add-Ons)
- Chops Grille (steakhouse) – about $70 per person
- Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen – about $55 per person
- Izumi – hibachi about $65, or sushi à la carte
- Hooked Seafood – about $65 per person

- Spa services – varies
- Shore excursions – varies
- Casino – optional
- Arcade games – per play
- Room service – continental breakfast free; all other orders $7.95 per order + 18% gratuity

🏖️ Nassau, Bahamas — Your Day, Your Way
Nassau is a free day — do anything you’d like! A Frequense group will likely spend the day at Junkanoo Beach, a public beach within walking distance of the cruise port (about 10–15 minutes on foot — no taxi needed). You’re also free to book an excursion, explore downtown, visit Paradise Island, or relax on the quiet ship.
Possible costs that day:
- Beach chair and umbrella rentals from local vendors (bring cash)
- Any food, drinks, excursions, or transportation you choose
Beach plans are being finalized — more details about times and meeting locations will be provided closer to sailing.
🌞 Perfect Day at CocoCay — Included vs. Extra
Included free: the island itself, Oasis Lagoon pool, Chill Island, South Beach and Harbor Beach (with complimentary loungers and umbrellas), Splashaway Bay for kids, island trams, and meals at Chill Grill, Skipper’s Grill, and the Snack Shacks. Your drink package and Wi-Fi package work on the island, and you only need your SeaPass card to get on and off the ship.
Extra cost (optional): Thrill Waterpark, Coco Beach Club, Hideaway Beach (18+), zip line, the Up Up & Away balloon, and cabanas. Prices vary by sailing — check the Cruise Planner.
