The Royal Caribbean app is your boarding pass, daily planner, and reservation tool for the Rise & Vibe Cruise. Follow these steps in order and you’ll board early with your shows already booked.
📅 Key Dates — Put These on Your Calendar
- Now: Download the app, create your account, and make sure your cruise appears.
- September 18, 2026 (opens ~midnight Eastern): Online check-in opens — get on right away and reserve your arrival time. We recommend grabbing the earliest time available.
- October 1, 2026: Show reservations open — book your shows that day (free).
- November 1: Health questionnaire appears in the app (~24 hours before boarding).
- November 2: Boarding day!
1️⃣ Set Up the App (Do This Now)
- Download the free Royal Caribbean International app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create a Royal Caribbean account (or sign in) — use the same email address your cruise was registered with so your reservation links automatically.
- Your cruise should appear on the app home screen. If it doesn’t within a day or two, tap "Add a Cruise" and enter your reservation number, last name, ship (Wonder of the Seas), and sail date (November 2, 2026).
- Don’t have your reservation number? Email support@frequense.com.
2️⃣ Check In the Moment It Opens — September 18
Check-in opens 45 days before sailing — for our cruise that’s the night of September 17 → 18, right around midnight Eastern time (it sometimes appears a few minutes after 12:00).
🚨 Most important step of this whole article: arrival time slots are first-come, first-served, and the earliest ones disappear within hours. Even if you do nothing else that night, log in, tap Check-In, and reserve the earliest arrival time available for everyone in your cabin. The app lets you grab your arrival time first and finish the other steps later.
Then complete the rest (that night or in the following days), for each guest:
- Tap Check-In on the app home screen and select the guest.
- Enter travel info and scan your passport with your phone camera (much faster than typing — and the website can’t scan).
- Take the security "selfie" photo.
- Accept the Cruise Ticket Contract.
- Add a credit card for your onboard SeaPass account.
💡 Good to know: one adult (21+) can check in everyone in the cabin — and even guests on linked reservations — as long as they have everyone’s passport details; each person can add their own photo later from their own phone. When everything’s done you’ll have a mobile SetSail Pass (your boarding pass), and completing every step qualifies you for the Express Boarding line at the terminal. The health questionnaire pops up in the app about 24 hours before boarding — answer it when it appears.
3️⃣ Link Reservations with Your Friends & Family
Traveling with people in other cabins? Link your reservations so you can book shows and dining together and be seated together in the Main Dining Room:
- Online: log in at royalcaribbean.com → open your Cruise Planner → link/add other reservations. You’ll need each party’s reservation number and last name.
- While booking: when reserving any show or dining, choose "Add Guest" and enter the other reservation’s number and primary guest’s last name.
- By phone: Royal Caribbean at (866) 562-7625.
4️⃣ Reserve Your Shows — October 1
- Show reservations for our sailing open October 1, 2026 in the Cruise Planner (royalcaribbean.com) and the app. They’re free — but they book up quickly, so reserve the day they open.
- Reserve every show you want: inTENse (AquaTheater), 365: The Seasons on Ice, and The Effectors II — see the full lineup in our Onboard Entertainment & Shows article.
- Missed the pre-cruise window? Book onboard in the app or at the Box Office — and sold-out shows have a standby line at the venue ~15 minutes before showtime. You can also visit The Attic (location subject to change) onboard for help with reservations.
🍽️ My Time Dining? If you selected My Time Dining at registration, also book your nightly dinner times — in the Cruise Planner before sailing or in the app onboard. (Guests who chose 5:00 or 7:30 are automatically seated with the Frequense group — no action needed.)
5️⃣ Boarding Day & Using the App at Sea
- Arrive at Terminal A at your selected arrival time with your SetSail Pass and travel documents.
- Once onboard, connect to the ship’s Guest Wi-Fi — the app is completely free to use onboard, no internet package needed.
- Complete Muster 2.0 right away: watch the safety video in the app, then check in at your muster station (shown in the app and on your SeaPass card). Required before sailaway.
- Book anything that couldn’t be pre-reserved (some activities only open once you board) as soon as you’re on.
- Chat with your group free through the app’s chat feature — cabin mates connect automatically, and you can invite others. (Notifications can be slow — check the app periodically.)
- Use the daily planner for schedules, deck maps, menus, and your live SeaPass spending balance. Frequense event times will be posted in the Facebook group.
